Waiting Game

Miranda took the time and called about the ship to have her subchiefs check on the status of the shuttles and get with the Major in charge of the fighters to make sure they weathered the quick transition from location in space to another instantly.

Glancing around the bridge once that was done and helm checked out okay and the ship sat motionless in space, Miranda noticed there was a mere Lieutenant sitting in the Center Seat. She blinked in surprise at seeing that. Figuring one of the more senior officers would be sitting there.

Taking the advantage of the lull of the moment as Command Team, along with Tactical and "Q" Jr conferred in the Ready Room of the Captain, Miranda stood from her seat and stretched doing a self-check and getting the blood flowing again through her body.

As time dragged on slowly, Miranda paced a little next to her chair, burning off nervious energy. Listening and acknowledging the reports that came in from her various departments. Even the Phantoms were fine and the techs along with the pilots were going over the sleek areospace fighters.
