Eighth Fleet Judge Advocate-General Promoted to Vice Admiral

At this time, it is my pleasure to announce that effective immediately, Rear Admiral Jon Carver - JAG Director, has been promoted to the rank of Vice Admiral.

Since July 2011 Vice Admiral Carver has been serving Horizon Fleet as JAG Director. Discussion by the other members of Fleet Council concluded that he has done an excellent job in his position. He has assisted in policy updates, reviewed Fleet Law, contributed to Fleet Council discussions, and his performed his other duties to the best of his ability.

We thank him for his service thus far and look forward to continuing to work with him on Fleet Council.
