October 2012 Monthly Awards Recipients Announced

Ladies and Gentlemen,

It is my privilege and honor to announce the recipients of the October 2012 monthly awards. Please join me in congratulating the following members of our simulation on their well-earned achievements.

Captain's Merit: Lieutenant Ophelia Lysander, MD ~ "It is never easy for a player to remain invested in a simulation when their character is not as often involved in the main mission development or heavy action posting sequences as others might be. Lieutenant Lysander, MD has demonstrated outstanding quality in her interactions with members of this crew as well as a genuine interest in doing her part to develop what relationships both in and out-of-character she can with her peers. I look forward to what Doctor Lysander will bring to this community as we find ways she might become even more involved in the days and weeks to come." - Captain Tobias Naros

Crew's Choice: Lieutenant Commander Robert Hogan ~ "Elected by a vote of his peers after having been aboard only a few short weeks, Lieutenant Commander Hogan has demonstrated himself to be one who does not shy away from becoming involved with this simulation. We look forward to what Mister Hogan will continue to accomplish in the weeks and months to come." - Captain Tobias Naros

XO's Merit Award: Lieutenant JG Miranda Blackfur ~ "In the time I've been part of the Yorktown I've read and gotten to be part of some of the posts that Lieutenant (JG) Blackfur has written and she's very in tune with her character as well as her characters job aboard the Yorktown." - Lieutenant Commander Xavier Nor'el

Newcomer Award: Lieutenant Aniela Darvetti ~ "Having only been aboard a little under two weeks, Lieutenant Darvetti has wasted little time becoming involved by establishing the presence of her characters as well as beginning the process of developing relationships both in and out-of-character with her peers. We look forward to seeing what bright ideas and new discoveries Miss Darvetti will bring in the weeks and months to come." - Captain Tobias Naros
