USS Yorktown Posting Activity Policy

One of the most visible components of Star Trek Roleplaying is the posts we write individually and as a simulation. When put together, these posts tell the story of our characters, our ship, and our adventures. It is important that members of the simulation actively contribute to posting efforts in order for a creative and entertaining atmosphere to be maintained. The following is a brief guideline as to the specific posting policy for the USS Yorktown and must be adhered to by all members.

===Posting Policy===

1. Definition
a. Posts include mission posts, joint mission posts, and personal logs.
b. Mission posts, joint posts, and personal logs can be from the perspective of a player's character or that of a non-playing character.

2. Frequency
a. To help maintain a steady flow of mission plots, all players are expected to post on a regular basis.
b. Horizon Fleet requires all players post no less than two times per month.
c. It is expected all players make an effort to post no less than four times per month (at least once per week). Though it is not officially required, players are encouraged to aim for this goal.

3. Infrequent Posting
a. A player must contact the Commanding Officer if they are unable to meet the posting requirement to inform him of the circumstances which are preventing them from doing so.
b. Failure to meet the posting requirement on a regular basis without explanation will result in the player receiving a strike.
c. A strike for posting inactivity may be removed after a month of active posting following the issuing of the offending strike.
