USS Yorktown Conflict Resolution Policy
Created by Captain Tobias Naros on Sat Apr 7th, 2012 @ 4:19am
The following is a brief guideline to conflict resolution for the USS Yorktown and should be applied to all situations.
===Conflict Resolution===
Step 1: Contact the other player directly via private message and describe to them what is frustrating or aggrivating you in a way that is not confrontational or demeaning. Most conflicts occur because of some misunderstanding or miscommunication and can easily be solved if the parties involved simply talk things through.
Step 2: If you feel the other player is not listening or respecting your concerns, contact the Yorktown's Commanding Officer via private message and outline whatever is frustrating you. It is often easier for someone outside of the immediate situation to help mediate or address the issue because they may be able to look at things from a different perspective.
Step 3: If the situation still has not been resolved or the player you are in conflict with is the Commanding Officer, it may come time to bring your concerns to someone outside the simulation itself. The Commanding Officer or a member of the Task Force Command Staff can help direct you to the appropriate fleet resources for addressing and resolving your conflict.
===Enforcement===
This policy is meant to maintain a safe and fun atmosphere. Questions, comments, and concerns are always welcomed and should be directed to a member of the Yorktown's Command Staff via private message or email. Modification and enforcement of this policy is at the discretion of the Yorktown's Commanding Officer.
